The movie itself looks good but I am more impressed with the actors answers to the question "What would they do in really life they could implant information in someones head?"

Good answer Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page.  Watch out Tony Hayward, Dick Cheney and Sarah Palin ;)

Before The Let Live Conference started we went to see a screening of Bold Native. What a great movie. A most see for any animal lover. It shows the different paths we can take as animal activists and everyone of them is important to see.

This was a good movie but there are a few things that got on my nerves. First was that No impact Mans wife(Michelle Conlin) wears fur. Second was that Michelle did a lot of complaining and third was that Michelle wears fur. Did I mention Michelle wears fur!

Other then that I felt this documentary had a great message. I was super happy when they went vegetarian and organic. Supporting your local farmers is awesome and even better is seeing where your food comes from. Although I don't think milk and eggs are healthy I appreciated the fact that that the animals where being treated humanely.

I often tell people one of the best things you can do for your health, the animals and our environment is to go vegan. That is definitely true but there is always room for self improvement. As vegan-ism grows so too will marketing to vegans. So we need to make sure as vegan consumers we are passing the message on that we want products with little to no packaging. Lets make sure this vegan world we are creating has no impact too.

Forks over Knives is a documentary that I am super excited about seeing this summer(2010). The feature film Forks Over Knives examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods.
